Fall is in the air

This is my first attempt at a Center Step Card. I have to say it was really easy and I liked the way this card turned out. I'm entering this card in some Fall challenges, so I thought this little acorn from Create A Critter 2 with the Peachy Keen Face was adorable. I bought this new Recollections paper pack with all these beautiful Fall colors, couldn't wait to use them. This card was fun and easy,  I will  definitely be doing it again. Next time I'll have to make a video to show how simple it was.
Here's a close up of my card. I added some Studio G Glitter glue around the top of the acorn. I just love the Tiny Doilies Metal Dies from My Craft Spot. I just bought this set of Cuttlebug folders called James'. I used it to get the embossed arrows at the bottom.

This is the second card I made for this hop. I got the inspiration off of You Tube from you can watch her original video. I really loved her idea of making this wreath out of a Martha Stewart Branch Punch. I did cut a wreath pattern from my Cricut that is under the punches. It was so simple that I made 3 cards!!
I did add some Glimmer Mist to the branches. It does look like a real mini wreath!.

Trick or Treat

It's been a crazy day today. I've had so much going on. Madison one of my 5 year old twins caught pink eye yesterday at school. I was at Urgent Care last night with her. I also found out she has an ear infection. Poor Baby! So she is home with me today. I decided we would craft today to help keep her occupied and this would help her from wanting to rub her eye. So I looked around on a couple of challenge blogs and this is what I came up with. I'm also posting the card she made for me. I thought we would make some fun Halloween cards using my new Create A Critter 2 cartridge.
Madison loves a card that wobbles! So I added an action wobble to this cute pumpkin. I love the bright orange glitter paper from DCWV Bewitched Cardstock Stack. There's alot of bling on this card for the challenge "Bling It" at Cardz TV. I love the Halloween bingo card from Mary's new stamps.

Material:
DCWV Bewitched Cardstock Stack
Studio G Ink
Recollections Muse Glitter
White & Black Jelly Pens
Spider Web Punch
Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor
Creatology Eye Stickers
Recollections Crafting Tape
Glossy Accents
Trendy Twine
Button
Oct. 31 Cardz TV Stamps
Action Wobble
Spellbinders Nested Pennants
Scrappy Moms Bewitched Sentiments

Here's Madison's card she made for me. Everything I was using she also needed and then some. I cut out the ghost for her and helped with the ribbon but she did everything else. I had to laugh at her also adding the stitching around her card. I love it!!

Please remember my two blog candy giveaways end this evening and I'll be posting winners in the morning. I have an upcoming follower giveaway that you won't want to miss. I'll be posting details soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I'm still trying to use all of my cartridges. I made this card from the cartridge Bump in the Night. I just love the eye stickers from Creatology. The sentiment goes perfectly with this little monster! I tried to use more boys colors, as I have a hard time making those cards. I tried to keep it simple and not add alot of extras.

Birthday Wishes

This is one of my favorites cards that I've made. I love the paper from MME Blush Paper & the cute images that are on Kate's ABC cartridge. I think the colors are wonderful together. Please watch the video to see how easily this card was made. Everything that I used to make this card is in the video. I have been really busy this week with not a lot of time to craft. I'm crafting the whole day tomorrow. I'm not sure if April is going to make it over or not. She had bronchitis 2 weeks ago and is still getting over it. This is going to be another short post as I have to leave in 15 minutes to go get the girls from school. Woo Hoo!! It's the weekend. Time to relax!! Hope you all have a great weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Relax

Here's a real simple card I made using the cartridge Crocs Rule. This is my first time using this cartridge. I think with the colors I used this could be used for a masculine card. I have a real hard time making masculine cards. I always want to add glitter, flowers etc. I did ink around the edges in Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink. Thought it would be cute to add some bakers twine to look like it was holding the hammock to the palm trees. This post is going to be short, as my daughter Madison is not feeling well. I'm off to give her my attention. I'll be back later in the week with a video from Kate's ABC cartridge.

Be sure to enter both of our giveaways. They end on 9/21.

I also want to say "Thank You" to Jo. I won a set of Cardz TV stamps off a blog hop. It was one I didn't have. Woo Hoo!!

Jeepers Creepers

I wanted to make a card to enter into a couple of challenges. I love Halloween, I think it's my favorite time of year. I just bought this paper pack from Michaels. It's K&Company Halloween. I was looking through it and loved all the wonderful papers. Plus it didn't hurt that it had a lot of purple, which is my favorite color. I actually went back to Michaels today to get another one, but I could not find them!!  The black around the edges were perfect, the distressing was already done for me.
I cut the spider from Doodlecharms. The paper is from DCWV The Bewitched Cardstock Stack and it's a glitter paper. I did add some Studio G glitter glue silver on the back paper that looks like spider webs to bring some of the web pattern.
An "S" fold card is one of my favorites to make. I used my EK Success spider web punch. The spider web is in black, so you could see the purple through the web. I think this card came together nicely.

Material:
Doodlecharms 3.25
K&Company Halloween Mat Pad
DCWV The Bewitched Cardstock Stack
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Black Soot & Dusty Concord
EK Success Web Punch

Nestabilities Labels Eight
Scrappy Moms Bewitched Sentiments
Studio G Glitter Glue
Doodle Twine Halloween
Buttons
3D Foam Squares

Thanks so much for taking a peek. Be sure to enter both of our blog candy giveaways.

Here's the card I made for Erica's Room Grandparent's Day Blog Hop. I really like the subtle colors in my card.  The bottom layer paper is CTMH  X7155B Avonlea. I also did a large circle punch and used the opposite side of it for under the hearts. My CTMH consultant Judy Ashmore gave me this paper. (Thanks Judy!!)  I then decided to add three hearts on top of the circle. Each heart is for each of my three daughters. I used two heart punches and had the large heart from Joann's. I did punch an extra heart of the lacey one and then sponged it with Tim Holtz Distress Faded Jeans to make the heart pattern on the other heart. I like the way it turned out. For the large heart I added some Chocolate Chip Stampin Up Ink. I also used the same Stampin Up ink for the ribbon. I made the ribbon from the Cricut Artiste cartridge. I followed the measurements that are on the stamps. I didn't have a sentiment for Grandparents, so I just did the sentiment on my computer and printed it, then punched it out. The canvas tag is from Maya Rd. I really love that little tag it's so darling. I stamped the sentiment on top from My Craft Spot Tiny Tags 2. I did add 3D foam squares in the ribbon and under the hearts to add dimension. To finish it I then added some Recollections faux pearls & a rhinestone sticker. I'm sure my parents will love this card from my girls.

Let's Party

When I got my Cricut Artiste cartridge and saw this bat I knew I had to make it. I made the bat into a party invitation. I kept it real simple. There are no layers, just doodling inside and out. I just love the Peachy Keen face on him.
Here's the inside. I cut him out twice, once with the black cardstock and then in the orange gingham.
How cute is he for a Halloween party invitation??

Hoo knew?

I'm always short on birthday cards so I have been making quite a few lately to build up my stash. This is my first time using the Twinkle Toes cartridge. I'm trying to challenge myself on using all the new cartridges that I have not used yet. There is a lot of cute images on this cartridge. I thought this ballerina owl was just adorable. I made the pink wire from Purple Cow Craft Geek Wind It. I bought it while on I was on vacation a couple of months ago, and this is the first time I have used it. I really do like it!! It comes with several templates and you just wind the wire around it and snip it. It's as simple as that. I also found you could buy the colored wire at local craft stores.

Recollections Bubblegum Glitter
