Christmas In July



This weeks challenge at  is Christmas In July. I decided to use Elfing Around Elves and Candy Cane Elves. These patterns are just too cute! I also wanted to enter the Peachy Keen Challenge this week which is create a card (must be a card), and in doing so make it a gift card holder, or include a money slot.

This card is great as it has a slot in the front of the card for the gift card and it still opens up for you to write something. I had to add some Peachy cuteness to my elves by using sweet & innocent faces. My paper is from MME 12 days of Christmas.

Craft It Up & Link It Up Party #11

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party!!!

This weeks theme is Birthdays...

My card is from the pattern Birthday Cake Frog at KaDoodle Bug Designs. I used two different paper stacks they are Jillibean Soup spotted Owl Soup and DCWV All Occasion Scrapbook kit in a stack. I love these fun colors together. With school starting soon I can never have to many birthday cards on hand. I hope you join in and link up!!

Paper Piecings








Since I'm now on KaDoodle Bug Designs & Too Cute by Jessica design team I will now be selling some paper piecing sets on Ebay under Craftindesertdivas. I will be sharing with you my paper piecings and I will still be sharing cards and projects, as I love to do them!! These are a few that I have done the past couple of weeks. From now on I will share paper piecings as I make them. Sorry for the heavy pictures in this post.

Congrats on your New Addition!


I wanted to share this card I made from the new Baby Elephants from KaDoodle Bug Designs.
I bought the shaped card from SVG Cutting files. I added a tag with  swiss dots embossing on it. The baby elephant is a print and cut. This new set is just so sweet!

This was a quick card I purchased the watermelon shape from the Silhouette store. I stamped a PKS face on it, then added some Glossy Accents to the seeds, twine and sentiment and it was complete. This reminds me of Summer as my girls love to eat lots of watermelon during the Summer!!
