Craft It Up & Link It Up Summer Linky Party - Week 2

It's your birthday GO WILD!

Good morning y'all! Lisa B. here today to share with you a box card I created using some of my CDD stamps. I got this paper from their new Craft Supplies section, it is called Hip, Hip, Hooray by Doodlebug. I just ADORE this color combination.

I sized the circle and offset it to fit the monkey from the It's All About Zoo stamp set. I used the TAG IT stamp set for the label that I put the sentiment on. I found a style of the number 5 that I liked and welded it onto the pieces that make up the middle.

To add some bling to it, I used the matching DoodleBug Birthday Boy Sprinkles. Next I took the STAR from the Banner dies set and glued them in various places. The White Sakura Gel pen always is something I tend to use to add a bit of dimension to my projects.

This is a picture of it laying flat. Don't you just love that color combo?? It is fabulous!

Just a note to brighten your day

Nicole here today and I would like to share with you some 3x3 notecards I made using a new stamp and die set from the recent May Stamp Release.

I used the sun image along with a portion of one of the sentiments from CDD's "The Sky is the Limit" stamp set. I masked off the second half of the sentiment with scotch tape in order to only stamp a portion of it. After I colored in my sun, I used the coordinating "The Sky is the Limit" die set to cut out my suns.

I love to have 3x3 cards on hand to slide in with a gift or even into a lunchbox as a special "treat" with a handwritten note. I am planning on using my set of notecards as end of the school year teacher thank you's and they will pair up beautifully with the treat boxes I made for them HERE. Best of all, these notecards were quick and easy using the fun new products from Craftin Desert Divas AND I can even enter them into the current linky party "Summer" !!

Fluttering by to say...

Hello everyone!! This is Tina from The Scrappin Rabbit Blog here on a

Throwback Thursday to share with you a project I made using an older stamp set.

Today I have a birthday card I made using the sentiments from the

CDD Lil Bit Buggie and one of my favorite's, Simply Said.

I made this pop out butterfly card.

The sentiment goes wonderfully and I embellished with the Butterfly Wishes

sequins and some pearls. I then made a bow with some pink shimmery ribbon.

The inside also has a pop out and I stamped Happy Birthday from the Simply Said set.

Woah! It's Your Birthday

Happy Hump Day!!!

Hi everyone its Jessica M. bring you a cute birthday card using the Punny Farm stamp set. Have you seen how cute this set is I mean who doesnt love these cute animals? I just had to get this set when I seen it. And it has great sentiments too!

This is my card......

Here is a close up of it

I started with a base of 6 x 4 1/4 and I lightly watercolored the background half blue for the sky and green for the grass I added grass blades with a green copic. I then cut from my cricut design space the barn and the fence to make my farm complete. Stamped and colored all the images from the stamp set with my copics. Fussy cut the images so that I didn't have a white border around them. I was going to leave it like that but then I wanted to use that sentiment and I had to make it more of a birthday card so I took the hats and balloons from the Totally Turtle stamp colored and cut them out. How cute did that come out? I felt like the sky was looking bare so I took the new Sky Is The Limit stamp and dies set and cut out the sun and clouds which I layered. Stamped the sentiment and it was finished. I don't think I could have possibly added anything else lol.

Missing you a TON

Hi all, here today to share with you and I've

got a card using a couple past sets.

Both of them are favorites of mine and I love seeing how else I can use them.

Also wanted to play with creating a flatter, more

easily mailed card and so I played with stamping and masking

to come up with the stamped design.

Colored using pencils and gamsol. Shine added with Wink of Stella

and Jelly Roll Glitter pen.
