Craft It Up & Link It Up "Just For Kids" Linky Party - Week 1

You're The Cream To My Coffee

Hello everyone, this is Michelle here with Kennedy Grace Creations with this adorable coffee inspired card to share with you today. One of my dearest friends Donna loves her coffee and when I saw the new Got Coffee stamp sets I just new I had to have it.

First thing I did was cut the largest scalloped frame from a pink cardstock, then cut the rectangle frame and the next size scallop all from the newest dies released over at . I just love these new dies they are amazing!!!

For that piece the I stamped the coffee stains with some espresso ink some full in and them some were second generation stamping changing the direction of the stamp for a random pattern of coffee stains. I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in the espresso ink as well.

I stamped the little mouse with the coffee cup on water color paper with versamark ink and heat embossed her in clear embossing powder. I colored her with the Zig real brush watercolor markers then added some wink of Stella on the coffee cup, and the mouse's ears and nose and popped her up with foam tape. To finish the whole thing off I added a sprinkling of pastel enamel dots.

Here's what I've created for you...

I've created a cute little monster birthday card. I just love those eyes and teeth on that monster. I'm really loving that banner and those balloons from the Party Dies. My favorite thing about that banner is that you can take out the small inside banners as I have done, so you can put other paper on the inside of them. I can see them being really handy for lots of birthday projects. I've also used Fancy Frame dies.

Here's a closeup of the card. So you can see that banner and the stitching on those balloons. My paper and sprinkles are from Doodlebug.

Here's my August Release video....

Here's what I've created for you...

I really can't get enough of those cute fruit and veggies from the Farmers Market set, so I had to combine them with that adorable squirrel and crow from the Autumn Wishes stamp set. I find it so much easier for me to make my own backgrounds than trying to find paper some days. I can search for hours looking for just that right paper. It's so easy to make the background and I explained in my video how I do them. My bottom layers of this card come together super quick as I used my . I just love those dies and tend to use them in all my cards lately.

Here's a close up of my card. I've colored the images with my Spectrum Noir markers. The sequins are from the new Corn Maze sequin mix. I also cut out those small banners from the Fancy Frame dies and layered them and put my sentiment from the stamp set on it.

August Release Sneak Peek Day 4

Today is day 4 and the last day of the sneak peeks for the August stamp release at Craftin Desert Divas. Stamps, dies and sequins will be in the shop tomorrow!

Here's my project for you...

I've created a shaker window card with these super sweet Monsters from the new Monster Mania stamps. How fun are they?? I think they would also be perfect for some super cute Halloween projects. I've used the new Party Dies to make my balloon shaped window shakers. The balloons in this set are all double stitched, so when you want to use them as cut outs you still can see the stitching!! I also used the string dies and bow dies from the new Party dies to add to those cute balloons. My paper is from a Doodlebugs Ghouls & Goodies paper pad.

Here's a close up of those balloon shaped window shakers. I've also used the new sequins. We have 3 new sequins but they are a limited edition mix. So be sure to get yours before they are gone.
