Sorry I forgot

Hi everyone, this is Jeanin from Craftin Desert Divas and I want to share this card with you today.

For this card I wanted to focus on the colors white, black, and gold and wanted it to keep simple. I started off die cutting a rectangle from white card stock and stamped the different outlines of the flowers from the Botanical Layers stamp set across the bottom of the card with VersaMark and embossed them with gold embossing powder. I made sure to mask off the flowers that would be in the front to be able to stamp the ones in the back.

From gold mirror card stock I die cut the word "Sorry" from the Wishful Thoughts dies and adhered it at the top of the rectangle. To complete the sentiment, I used "I forgot" from the Wishful Thoughts stamp set and stamped it directly under the "Sorry" using black ink. For a bit more contrast, I die cut the large scalloped rectangle from black card stock and assembled my card. I used a white top-folded notecard and adhered both rectangles to it.

Thanks for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Age is just a number...

Hello CDD Fans!

DT Steph here today sharing a cute birthday card I made using ,  and .

I just love this cute lil elephant!  I colored him with Copic Markers and popped him up on top of the white stitched circle, which has the sentiment stamped directly on it.  I stamped the numbers from Bring on the Cake and layered them onto a circle, except the first number that is coming out of his snout, which is a teardrop shape.  I cut all of this with my Brother Scan n Cut.  I cut the large black scallop circle and white stitched circle using Stitched in Circle Dies.  The pattern paper is from the .  I also used the for the highlights in his eyes.

This concludes my post for the day.  Thank you for stopping by!

Birthday Wishes

Hello my crafty friends!  Linda here today to share with you a card I made using the Prickly set from the May release.

I distress ink blended a piece of watercolor paper, flicked on some water, and die cut a circle from the Stitched in Circles dies.  Then, I stamped the clay pot from the set, covered it with a mask and then stamped the greenery on top.  I used the Brother Scan N Cut to die cut the entire piece out.  Then, I colored the pot using my Copic Markers (YR8, E08, E09).  I colored the leaves using YG11, YG13, YG17.  I added a little R56 at the tips and then used a colorless blender to soften the harsh line between the two.

I then stamped a sentiment from Wishful Thoughts onto one of the Flag Banner Dies with Versamark ink and white embossing powder.

This card was clearly about pops of colors, wouldn't you say?

Congrats On Your New Home

Hi fellow crafters..
It's Nanné here to share a shadow box I created out of cardstock to place on my bookshelf showcasing our new home.. We moved last fall and have fallen head over heals in love with this place..
Here is the shadow box I created:
The frame measure 5x7 and it was so much fun to put together..

Here's a few close ups:

I used the svg file's for the "Build a Scene, Flowers in Bloom and Koalifed" stamps which I cut with my Silhouette Came and then stamped my images on them using brown Memento ink..

I also used the tag it svg file and created my title label, the sentiment can be found on the Home Sweet Home stamp set..

Loved coloring my flowers.. We bought some Vintage Christmas rose bushes for the front of the house and its why I colored those flowers kind of purple.. Adding a Limeade Sprinkles in lime to the centers of my flowers..

Here you can see the depth of the shadow box.. added some flowers with little legs on the back of them to get them to stand up inside of the frame..

Here are the stamp sets I used:
