Scarecrow Kisses & Autumn Wishes

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa, from The Relativity of Paper, bringing you today's daily post. I can't begin to tell all of you how excited I am about Autumn being upon us. I love this time of year, the crisp leaves falling, , the first chilly morning.
I've, personally, never had a scarecrow kiss but if it's half as cute as the it can't be all bad, right?

I've found the easiest way to create is to pick out the products I'm going to be using, gather everything, and then get busy. By doing this I can do all my die-cutting at one time, then stamp, color, and lastly, assemble and add final touches.

Here are the products I used:

Linky Party Winners & Announcement!!

Hello CDD Fans! We want to get more fans involved with our CDD Monthly challenges and reward our fans for using CDD products on their projects, so we are transitioning our Linky Parties and our monthly FB digi challenge into our new Social Media Monthly Challenges. For our Monthly Challenge we will have a theme a month with an inspiration mood board that will be posted in our group. To be eligible to win you must create a new project using CDD products: Stamps, digi stamps, dies etc., that go along with the monthly theme and CDD must be the main focus of the project. We will add a folder into our photo album section in the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery titles with the month and theme for you to add your finished projects.  After you add your project to the album you must share your project on social media and tag Craftin Desert Divas in your post with the hashtag #CDDMONTHLY as this will be part of the requirement to win. There will be 3 prizes awarded each month. 1st place will be a $15.00 CDD shop credit. 2nd place will be 2 free digi stamps of choice, and 3rd will be 1 free digi stamp of choice. We will also require a minimum number of 8 entries or more in each challenge for a prize to be awarded. For fans to qualify for a prize they must make a new project using CDD products that match the theme and post their project photo in the CDD Gallery album for that challenge. Then they must share their project on social media and tag Craftin Desert Divas in the post with #CDDMONTHLY . There is no limit on the amount of entries that you submit as long as they fulfill the requirements above. We will randomly select the winners from the entrants that fulfill all of these requirements. Each challenge will go live at 12am EST on the 1st of every month and close at 11:59 EST on the last day of the month.  The winners will then be selected and announced in the CDD Gallery within 48 hours of the challenge end. Once the winners have been announced they will have 1 week to claim their prize by messaging the main page. If the prize is not claimed within a week of the announcement, that prize will be forfeited.  Also there no longer be a linky party or a monthly digi challenge as this will be our only challenge.  We feel that this will be a great way to reward you our valued customers who are sharing your love for CDD. Embellished Treat Bags

Hello everyone, this is Jeanin from the Craftin Desert Divas Design Team. Today I want to show you these adorable treat bags that I made. I love these 1" x 8" clear treat bags. I never saw them anywhere in Germany so I was super happy to find them in the CDD shop.

I started off die cutting the oval from the "Banner" die set from blue mirror card stock. I think it gives them a really nice and fancy look (although mirror card stock is not easy to photograph...). Using a bone folder, I creased the ovals in the center because I wanted to used them as a topper for the treat bags. To embellish them, I stamped the cute critters from the "Under the sea" stamp set and colored them with Zig markers and alcohol markers. Using 3D foam squares, I adhered the critters to the toppers.

For my sentiment I die cut a couple of black flag banners and cut them in half. I found this cute "xoxo" stamp in the "Simply Said" stamp set and embossed it with white embossing powder on the flag banners. I then adhered them to the front of my toppers. After filling my bags with blue candy to match the color of the toppers I used strong  glue and adhered everything to the treat bags.

I hope you like my project and are inspired to make your own treat bags/tubes.

Somedays Ya Just Wanna....

Hi Everyone! Saundra here to share some Craftin Desert Divas inspiration.

I am in love with the new stamps and just can't seem to get enough of them. These genies are so much fun to color! I just had make another card with these cuties!

Seriously, I love these genies!!

My Card card uses quite a few dies but they work so well together.

I started with watercolor cardstock and did some inking with a stencil that I created with the . I, then, used the dies and vellum to create some clouds.

I colored this little genie and her carpet with Copic Markers. A white gel pen was used for a few accents and some Glossy Accents was added to her eyes. I, also, used my Clear Wink of Stella for her clothing.  I stamped the sentiment with some Versa Fine Black ink and heat embossed my sentiment with Clear embossing powder.

I added some for a final touch.

I hope you found a little inspiration today!

Here are all of the CDD products I used today.

You Are Blessed

Hello there crafty friends,
Jan's from handcraft hobby here.  Im back on Craftin Desert Divas' blog today sharing with you my card using , stamp sets and .

Here's what I made

After been awhile playing with all those cuties stamps, I often find myself returned back to flowers stamps for the love of flowers... (all kind of flowers)  I love Lotus flower and for Thai or I should say Buddhist, Lotus is a Holy flower that we normally use for praying.

Today card is truly CAS. (LOL)  I stamped the biggest Lotus from stamp and colored it with various copic markers.  I then cut the panel using (my always goto die for decorative scallop edge panel).  From there I will know where to place my sentiment.  I diecut the word "Blessed" from with Champagne/Gold glitter cardstock and glued it down using (my favorite for adhering intricate diecut pieces).  I then heat embossed the stamp word "You are" from stamp on top of the diecut piece.

I mounted the panel onto the champagne glitter cardstock and then adhered it onto my cardbase.  I decided not to put any sequins and wanted it to remain clean and simple.  And I love it!.
And here's closer look

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you all Wonderful day.
