Merry Christmas

Hi and welcome, everyone! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper bringing you the daily post and asking...where do you find inspiration? For this card, I went to Pinterest and searched Santa Boots. Of course, a vast and varied selection popped up. One thing caught my eye, a wreath with elf boots and striped legs dangling, very Whoville-ish! Something so fun, so cute, something I need hanging on my front door, for sure. I immediately knew what had to be done.

Now here's the thing, it's die-cut overload! I'm learning that sometimes you just have to go for it. Load it up with everything including the kitchen sink. What is life without risk, right?  Hey, sometimes it works other times not so much.

Wishing You The Merriest Holiday Season

Hi it's Janet with The Craftin Desert Divas Design team and today I am showcasing the brand new Winter Wonderland Dies. This set is stunning and so versatile. I start with an A2 white card base folded at 5.5". I then cut a red base panel using the  I also use the smallest frame die from the Crazy Stitched dies and cut that out of white paper. I stamp my sentiment using and heat emboss with clear embossing powder to give it shine. Now for the fun part!!! I die cut all the new Winter Wonderland dies out of white paper, some I cut twice, and ink them with Distress inks. You can make your project any color combo with this technique. I decided to use greens with browns and light reds with darker reds to give dimension and interest. I finalized my project with silver sequins from the .
