Tic Tac Toe Card

Hi everyone!!

It´s Noe here once again to show you a new project before the end of the year ... Yes! Could you believe that this 2016 is running out already! ??? Time flyes!!

Well, today I come with a very simple card but at the same time very funny !! It´s ideal to make it accompanied by children !!

It´s a card and at the same time it is a game ... It´s a Tic Tac Toe Card (in Spain we call this game "3 in line")... Look:

I have made my game pieces using the circle of  "" dies and on them I have stamped my animals ... I have used two different set of stamps: "" and "".

And at this time I wanted to use vellum paper instead of acetate to make my Shaker card ... I think it gives it a more distinguished touch.

I have finally stamped the "Congrats" sentiment for the "" Stamp set around my black frame.

As you can see, make this card it´s easy to do !!
I take the opportunity to wish you all a Happy 2017 !!!
See you next year at CDD Blog!!

Wishing You A Happy New Year

Hello everyone... It's me Jan from handcraft hobby and I am back with my project for Craftin Desert Divas's Blog today.  I am so fasinated by this Unquie stamp that my friend Mindy designed for November Release.  As being a Thai/Chinese I find this set will be my most used set for Chinese New Year.  But it's not just limited to Chinese New Year it also can be used for Birthday and Well Wishes for my Chinese friends all over the world...   Well let just jump right into my today project shall we :)

Here is what I made for you
In stead of making a card I decided to do a decorative panels to display using the beautiful and elegant dragon from .

And here are the closer look

And Here's how I made it
I began by cutting red card stock at 3 and 1/4 inches by 5 and 1/2 inches for 3 pieces and thin red construction paper slightly less and 1/2 inch by 4 and 1/2 inches for 2 pieces for the hinge....  The size of the panels can be varies depend on how big of the window die you are using.  You just have to add a little of the space for both sizes to attach the hinge

I used the small scalloped rectangle from for the openning windows and one of the decorative edge die from to make the legs.

After cutting those 3 panels I attached them with the construction paper hinges and began to embossed the small lantern all over the panels with white embossing power.

I then cut 3 pieces of vellum paper a bit bigger than the window and embossed the dragon with gold embossing powder.  Since I wanted the dragon to be at both panels so the dragon will be longer than the original stamp size.  I then embossed the sentiment "Wishing You" from stamp set at the 1st panel and also embossed the sentiment "Happy New Year" from the set at the middle panel.

For the third panel, I used the small circle die also from the and embossed with white embossing powder with those 3 Chinese Prosperity Words.. "Happiness, Lucky and Fortune",

Last thing I did was fold each panel at mountain and valley fold and it's all done!   I hope you like my little project and Thank you for stopping by today.

Winter Wishes

Meet Winter Gnomeo!  He is one of the newest Digital Stamps over at the CDD shop... and I must say I think he's pretty darn cute!

This idea was floating around in my head for a couple days before I put it to paper.  I knew I wanted to start with an ink distressed background and I knew I wanted it to be pink.  I ink distressed the stitched circle from the Shake It Up Dies and then splattered some water on it.  Once that dried (kinda... I'm not real patient) I sprayed some Shimmer Spray on it.  Then I cut a white scalloped rectangle using my Fancy Frame Dies and adhered my circle onto it.

I cut some snowy hills and some treetop snowdrifts from glitter paper using the Outdoor Landscape and Stitched Scallop Dies.  Then I used the same Fancy Frames die to cut the edges of both sets of snow so they would match the scallops on the background.

Then I cut some birch trees from the Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies and the little Christmas trees from the Shake It Up Dies.  I made a few layers of the trees using various thicknesses of popup tape.

I originally thought I'd color my Gnomeo up in some greens.... maybe a little pink... but when it came down to it, I decided he would prefer to dress a little understated... he's a natural kind of guy.... so I went with some tans and browns... plus it made him stand out... and I knew his nose and cheeks would be rosey because it's a chilly in those woods....

For the sentiment I used the Flag Banner Dies and Santa's Helpers and used some of the awesome Winter Wonderland dies to add a few extra embellishments.  I used some glittery embossing paste around the edges of the sentiment.  I love using it because it keeps it's dimension when it dries.

And I couldn't be finished without adding some oh so pretty sprinkles... I used my favorite Shimmer Sequins and one of my new favorite mixes, Sprinkled Sugar.

And don't forget about this month's CDD Social Media Challenge #CDDMONTHLY!  Play along in the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery on Facebook and you could win some awesome prizes!
