Blessed

Good Day to you my crafty friends...

It's me... Jan from handcrafthobby and I am so happy to be back on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog today.

After coloring so many cutie images, I think it's good time to revisit my old but still in love stamp "" stamp

I love this stamp so much that I colored them many times and everytime I fall in love with it again and again...  In fact it's a layering stamp but it's not limited to only just doing ink layering.   So today my card I only used 1 single outline imge to create my main focal point.

Here's what I made

I stamped the outline stamp of Lily flower from stamp 3 times onto white cardstock and began to color them with purple tone copic markers and fussy cut them out... The reason I chose purple because it's complimentary color for yellow which is my background pattern paper from .

I also diecut the window frame from dies, 1 from grey texture card stock and another 3 from white card stock.  I glued them all together for the dimension and it looks like chipboard.

I don't want to used form tape or white fun form for this case because it won't look finished to me at all sides both inner and outside edges.

After I attached down the window frame to the pattern papper, I then attached them to white cardbase and begand to arrange the flowers position.

I felt that the flowers need some stems so I handrawn them and attached behind the flowers.

There so many stamp sentiments that could fit perfectly onto those windows openning but I chose to go for simple like word die cut sentiment and I cut the word Blessed from Dies from gold glister peper and attached it at the top left corner.  And believe it or not it's done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I wish you all a Wonderful day.

Treasure Trolls Circular Card

Hi everyone, this is with a card featuring the Treasure Trolls stamp set.

I started off stamping the little troll on mixed media card stock and colored her in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I then went ahead and printed off the digi mine stamp on mixed media card stock and also colored in the background with the same markers.

For the outer frame, I used the largest Inside Scalloped Circle die and die cut it from white card stock to create a contrast to the dark mine background. Using the circle die from the Stitched in Circle die set, I die cut the background and also a standard card base making sure to let the die hang over the folded line to create a circle shaped card base.

Now everything that was left to do was to assemble the card. I adhered the background to the circle shaped card base. Using liquid glue, I then adhered the outer frame on top (it's a bit larger than the card base but not too extreme). To adhere the troll I used 3D foam squares and placed her next to the tracks.

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Sending Lots Of Smiles Your Way

Hello, again! It's Andrea from Blissfully Scrappy with a fun card for you. I'm a huge super hero fan, so when Craftin Desert Divas released their Caped Crusaders set, I was super excited (no pun intended)! I remember watching Wonder Woman, Underdog, and reruns of Batman growing up, so this set brings back lots of great memories.

I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copics, and cut them out. I added some sparkle to the images with a glitter pen and Zig Wink of Stella. To create the sky background, I die-cut masks with a die from the Stitched Scallop Dies and ink-blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The panel was die-cut with the largest Fancy Frames die and adhered to some yellow patterned paper from my stash.

The super heroes were popped up with foam tape (Wonder Kitty with two layers). I die-cut a banner from the patterned paper with one of the Flag Banner Dies and heat-embossed a sentiment from Caped Crusaders. The sentiment comes stacked, but I masked it and stamped it in a straight line. Some clear Nuvo Drops added some extra sparkle and interest. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a super day! Be sure to check out the current Mood Board Challenge in the Facebook gallery. You still have a few days to link up a project!
