Hello Sunshine

Hello Everyone!!  It's Laurie from Its All Cut and Die and I'm here to share a bright, happy Hello card.

I went through my scrap pile (we all have one!), and found a card panel that I had embossed using a woodgrain embossing folder.  I used the largest scalloped circle from the Stitched in Circles dies and cut out the centre of the panel.
On the card base itself I ink blended a pink, yellow and purple shade so it would show behind the die cut circle.

I stamped that sweet little butterfly with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured her in with somewhat coordinating colours of my alcohol markers.  I die cut the butterfly with the matching die.  I die cut the "hello" word die from the Pocket Pieces Hello dies 3 times to give some dimension.  I added the Hello to the centre of the die cut circle, popped up the butterfly with some foam adhesive and stamped the flight trail(???) to make it look like she was flying. Finished it off by adding a few clear sequins!!

And here is the whole card...

Thank you for stopping by!!!

Just For You

Hello, Nicole here today with a spring like card to share with you.  We have been so fortunate with the weather here in Oregon - temperatures have been mild and the early spring flowers are blooming!  My card was inspired by my background paper and the hint of spring :-)

My image is from the .  The sentiment is from the .  I added two border strips - one on either side of the image - using a border die from the .

I colored my image using my Spectrum Noir markers and used the background paper as inspiration for my coloring.  Finished it off with some accents with my white Gel pen and a bit of twine.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  I am getting excited for the new product release coming up next week!!  I can't wait for you to see the new products from Craftin Desert Divas!!

Popped Up To Say ...

 Hello everyone!
This is Jenny from Handmade by JLY.

Today I would like to share a spinner card I made with "Popped Up" mini stamp set.

I've been wanting to make a fun spinner card, and I thought this adorable
gopher image is perfect for it!

CDD_Daily2_FE

Here is how I made this card:
  1. I stamped the gopher image on a Copic friendly paper, colored it with Copic markers, and fussy cut the image.
  2. I prepped all the die cut layers using "Fancy Frames"and "Stitched in Circle" die sets.
  3. For the base layer, I used a sheet of patterned paper from "Sweet Things" 6x6 paper pad. I colored the large scallop circle frame pink with Copic marker and applied Clear Wink of Stella to add interest.
  4. For the middle circle frame, die cut grass with "Outdoor Landscape Dies," colored with Distress inks, and glued it to on the bottom. I also stamped the sentiment on the top of this frame.
  5. I sandwiched 2 pennies and a foam circle, and glued the gopher on top for it to spin between the circle frames.
  6. I first adhered the background layer with some foam tape, then I slipped the gopher spinner between the circle layers, before securely adhering the middle circle frame.
  7. I die cut a vellum banner using "Mix It Up Dies," stamped the sentiment from "Say It Big" stamp set with Versamark, and heat embossed in silver. I attached it on the bottom of the card with "Matte Sprinkles"

Just A Note

Welcome, everyone! It's Lisa from In The Crafting Cave bringing you a few oldie but goodies.
I created a bright, cheerful card using The Sky Is The Limit Stamp and Die Set.
I love this stamp set for a couple of different reasons. First and foremost, it's adorable and so very versatile. Second, it has matching dies and nothing makes me happier than matching dies!
If you're in a pinch, stamps with matching dies paired with patterned paper make a quick and easy card.

Here's what I created.
This is a picture of Chase The Clouds Away greeting card created In The Crafting Cave with Lisa using Craftin Desert Divas products.

The bright patterned paper paired with the stamped sentiment and stamped die-cuts is
a perfect way to tell someone you are thinking about them.  Such a great way to spread some
happiness. And we all can use that, right?
