Just For EWE

Hello crafty friends! Diana from Moments of Creativity is here today to share with you a recent card of mine made for my turn for a daily post here on the CDD blog. I pulled out some older stamp sets to play around with this time. And here is the card I came up with:

And a close up:
In order to create a background I first die cut 3 circles on a watercolor paper panel, stamped flowers from stamp set and leaves from set on the panel, and then masked off all the images. I guess masking was the most challenging and time-consuming part of all this work. Once this was done, the rest of the stuff was an easy peasy thing to do. Once I had every leaf and flower masked off, I colored the background with Distress inks and sprinkled it with water to get some spots. Once the masks were removed, I colored all the images and left the paper to dry. I then stamped some animals from stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. The card base was as well colored with blue Distress inks and the animals were placed in the circles. To finish off my card, I stamped one of the sentiments from Punny Farm stamp set and added a couple of sequins. And now you know all the secrets:)

This card was clearly about pops of colors, wouldn't you say?

I hope you've enjoyed today's card. Thank you for stopping by the CDD blog today.
Have an awesome crafty day!
