Favorite Distress Oxide Inks With DT Margaret

Hello Divas! It's Meg here with you to share (one of my) favorite Distress Oxide combos! The combination I'm sharing with you today is one I especially love because you can't go wrong blending the colors together, even though there are 3 of them.

For my project, I blended my Distress Oxides to get a galaxy background (minus the black). For this project, you will need Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks and the :

To get the galaxy effect, take a blending tool and ink random circles around your paper. Make sure you don't leave any white space, and be sure to blend your colors together in areas where they overlap:

What I love about this combination is that where the yellow and pink intersect, you get a soft tangerine color. Where the yellow and blue mix, you'll get a lime green. And where, the blue and pink meet, you get a lovely bright purple. No matter which two colors meet, you are sure to get a nice blend, rather than mud!

To make my background extra sparkly, I added some Ranger Pearls:

I hope you enjoyed this Distress Oxide combination! Here are shop links to everything we carry in store!

Thank you.
Meg
