Jan's here from handcraft hobby with you today and Im super excited to be on Craftin Desert Divas blog sharing with you my little project using CDD dies and stamp to create this Birthday Banner.
Here is how it look.
I tried to think outside the box of using our frame dies to create the banner. In this project I used Inside Scalloped Octagon dies along with Stitched Alpha dies to create the sentiments. Since it's a banner for birthday boy so I think it'll be fun to use our Classic Cars stamp... Well most boys love cars right?..

I began by cutting from white card stock as well as pattern paper from Doodlebug - Kraft In Color paper pad using Inside Scalloped Octagon dies both big and small ones.
I took the inner pieces and did some stenciling with Sorted Shapes 2 stencil for some light backdrops.
I colored all the images from Classic Cars stamp with copic markers and fussy cut them out.
Using Stitched Alpha dies to cut all those letters for the sentiments. I assembly them all together using multi medium matte. I punched holes on top of the banners and used baker twines to create the banner.
