Hello there! It's Cheryl with the DT here to show you some sneak peeks of the Flower Kisses clear stamp set and the new Tag it die that's part of the Craft Desert Divas' March release.
If you're not already, join the Facebook event! You'll get to see lots of sneak peeks from the Design Team and get information on freebies and giveaways! Click on the image below to go to the event page!
You can use the new Tag it die and the partial die-cutting technique to make bookmarks! First I cut out some cardstock using the tag die. I suggest using double sided cardstock if you have it handy.
Next I use the partial die-cutting technique using the window die that comes with the tag die set. To do this, you sandwich only the part of the cardstock you want cut under the plates as shown below. Then I run this through my die cutter.
Next I stamped out the cute little mice from the Flower Kisses stamp set and fussy cut the images. Then I colored them in using alcohol markers. I used a tape runner to adhere the mice to the top of the tag/bookmark.
I felt like something was missing so I used a white gel pen and wrote a few fun reading sentiments on the tab of each bookmark. There you have it! A quick, fun, and simple project that's also super functional!
Adorable!!
