Hey CDD fans. Design Team Member EK here with a fun Western 'party' card to share with you.
I am such a huge fan of the stamp set with their great little characters. However, I have yet to design the card I have always envisioned. Back in June when this stamp set was released, I was in the middle of a cross country move. And back then when I stamped out this great little snake, I had always envisioned him to be surrounded with cacti. Unfortunately I had failed to pack the necessary stamp sets to create the card I wanted. So now, I am making the card I had always dreamed of. I started by stamping out the snake from the stamp set. Then using four different cacti from the stamp set (the set I was missing back in June) to surround the little bandit.
Pulling out my copics, I started coloring in the scene. The cactus were colored with two different sets of greens. The duller green was a combination of YG61, YG63, and YG67. The brighter of the two cacti were colored with YG06, YG09 and G19.
The snake skin was colored in with Y17, YR04, and YR09, plus some colorless blender inside the scales. His belly was done with Y21, Y26, and Y28. His hat was colored in with E13, E15, and E17 and the greys in the gun and bullets were done with Warm grey series.
Before I started color the sand, I stamped out some rocks from the scene building stamp set . The rocks were colored in with C00, C01, and C03. The sand was colored using pointillism (art technique where you over lay different colored dots) using the colors E30, E31, E33, E35, and E37.
The sky was colored using YR000, YR00, YR21, and YR23 plus some colorless blender. 
To finish the card off I die cut the scene with CDD's largest and adhered the card to an A2 card frame. Finally, to give the gun some party like feelings, I added some sequins, some , and some Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen.
I am so happy to finally have the card I originally envisioned. I hope you enjoy it too.
