I colored up my flamingo and all his accessories with copic markers. I used some distress oxide inks and the copic marker airbrush system to make my background. To make everything look cohesive, I cut little slits in the background and stuck my elements through. This way they actually look like a part of the scene instead of on top of the scene.

Do you know what goes great with the new Tickled Pink set? The new Inside Scalloped Rectangle Dies and the Island dies that were released in July! To make my card look a little more masculine (then I turned around and gave him a pink ribbon on his hat), I cut the scallops off the inside of the rectangle. This makes these dies even more versatile! For finishing touches, I used on the flamingo's eye and also the beach ball.
I hope you like my card & be sure to check out the and also the in order to see what the rest of the design team created with this set! Also, remember to say "going" to the event in order to earn free digital stamps and also the chance to win the stamp sets released this month!
