Favorite Distress Oxide Inks With DT Toni

Greetings, Divas!  Toni here with you today to share one of my favorite Distress Oxide combos. That's an easy one, especially since the recent release of . That in combination with my other favorites, and , are a dream come true! And the perfect backdrop for the images from !

I started by masking the and then sponging with the , starting with . Notice how I overlap colors to create new colors and an even smoother transition? Love! I then diecut the . But, Toni!  How did you get the word to stand up???

To do that, I carefully lined up the alpha dies then taped them together. The magic happened when I ran them through my Big Shot. See how I positioned the top plate so it would leave the bottom uncut? Voila!

Popping the letters up offers the perfect opportunity to bring in some bling. I don't keep any glitter cardstock on hand except white on white but no biggie. I create my own all the time. I take a piece of colored cardstock and cover it with . I then sprinkle on white glitter like and burnish it very well with my finger. Shake off the excess and done. Fabulous, right?

You'll find that the March Moodboard utilizes some of the colors I used in my card. I was also inspired by the letters and cake stand. I hope you have a chance to play along (#cddmonthly or )
