Hello everyone! I’m Patricia from CDD team and today I'm going to show you one of my ways to make snow backgrounds for my cards.
For this I created this mosaic of photos with the step by step, which is very easy and you are going to make some great snow backgrounds.
STEP by STEP:
1.- First, I prepared my background with Distress Oxide ink. In my opinion, I think that these inks are the best to prepare this type of backgrounds (distress ink or distress oxide) Used two colors Faded Jeans and Broken china, its combination gives a more icy sky, that is achieved with a darker tone than another. 2.-Splashed water drops over background. 3 and 4.- I used white Gesso diluted with water in a surface, for example stamped block, and leave it well liquid. 5.-Splashed with a brush over the background. 6.-To finish use a white gel pen to add more snowflakes. Make sure everything is dry before doing it. And you already have it!! You can decorate your card as you like and create a scene with that beautiful snowy sky. Remember that you can add on top of your stamps or scene more snow to make it more real, but that is already an option as you like you.
I hope you like this. Happy Crafting!!
