Hello sweet divas, it's Anna Kovalenko here today with February release cuteness!
My new handmade card is simple & not at the same time, so let's go fast to making.
Most of the time I start with cutting. This time I wanted a cute background with stitches so I took white card stock piece and die and ran them through cutting machine.
I also took the other die from the same set but smaller and without stitches to make the window.
Then I stamped the sentiment using acrylic block and black ink. Last moment I decided to add hearts to the right of the sentiment (hearts are from the same release set).
After that I took watercolor paper and distress inks. To make that gorgeous font I used the new 6 by 6 stencil (plaid part). I applied inks using blending tool and inks (moved lawn and salty ocean).
To put the background together I used foam tape and attached the colored piece to the back of window background part. After that I attached the background to the card base.
Now was the time to do the pencil coloring! (I love working with pencils).
I stamped the image to the white card stock using black ink and stamping tool. After that I picked the colors and did the coloring. To add some lights I used white gel pen.
To put the card together I just needed to attach the colored image to the main card part.
And that was it! I LOVE how it turned out!!! And you?
Hope to inspire you with my simple¬ card design! And see you soon <3
